London 2013 - Catch up!

Hello! Or, I should say, Cheers!

As I watch the BBC news of the announcement of the Royal baby boy, I think this is a great time to begin to catch everyone up on my trip so far. It will take a few posts. Sorry its taken me so long!

To start, my neighborhood - The City. It's the financial district of London, the oldest part of the city and actually governed by a separate mayor than the rest of London. It was a great choice of location. I absolutely love the flat and my flatmate. Here are some shots from around the neighborhood:

This picture is an amazing juxtaposition of the really old - the Roman wall in the front here - and the modern - the buildings you see in the background.

Liverpool Street Station - closest underground station to where I am staying. Great for people watching :)

Thank you, London, for this instruction because otherwise I would surely look the wrong way and get hurt. Its so confusing that cars come from the other direction!

Just a few from around the city in general that I've taken so far...

That's all for now, but more to come! Next up is Scotland :)
